“Experience the Sound” at Tod’s Point This Sunday

Greenwich’s annual Experience the Sound at Tod’s Point is set for Sunday, June 21, 2026 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. The event is free and open to the public.

Join the Town of Greenwich Shellfish Commission for the annual Experience the Sound: From Streams through Soil to Sea, a free, family-friendly celebration of Greenwich’s coastal environment at Greenwich Point Park (Tod’s Point) in Old Greenwich.

This fun and educational event will showcase the connections between our local streams, watersheds, and Long Island Sound through hands-on activities, demonstrations, and exhibits.

Visitors can explore an oyster boat and Greenwich Police boat at the yacht club docks, enjoy sailing instruction from Tod’s Point Sailing School, and learn about kayaking and paddleboarding opportunities. Complimentary raw bar clams and oysters will be available while supplies last.

The Bruce Museum Seaside Center will celebrate its seasonal opening, and community organizations will offer exhibits and activities focused on environmental conservation, gardening, shellfishing, fishing, sailing, and maritime traditions.

Supported by the Town of Greenwich Conservation Commission and Sustainability Committee, this event offers something for all ages while highlighting the importance of protecting and enjoying Greenwich’s natural resources.
