Don’t Forget to Change Your Clocks This Weekend. Time to “Fall Back.”

Daylight Saving Time ends on Sunday, Nov 1, at 2:00am, so don’t forget to turn your clocks back one hour before you go to bed on Halloween on Saturday night (October 31.)

The end of Daylight Saving Time is a good time to change your smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector batteries.

According to the National Fire Protection Association and the CDC, three out of five home fire deaths result from fires in dwellings without smoke detectors or working smoke detectors. The risk of dying in a home fire is cut by almost half in homes with working smoke detectors. About 430 people in the US die annually from accidental CO poisoning.
