DAR Comes through with Valentine’s Day Candy for Nathaniel Witherell Healthcare Workers

In recognition of their outstanding support to our residents at Nathaniel Witherell and in recognition of Valentine’s Day, the newly organizing chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in Greenwich recently donated candy to the healthcare workers.

Mary Tate, Director of Volunteer Services, graciously accepted the gifts and will place them at the six nursing stations at Nathaniel Witherell. This newly organizing chapter is welcoming new members who have a desire to support our Community in a variety of ways.

The DAR, founded in 1890, is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women’s service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism and preserving American History.

Anyone interested in becoming a charter member of this organizing chapter, should contact Jolene Mullen, Connecticut State Chair, Chapter Development, CTDAR at [email protected]
