Mr. Devaney said he anticipated Vega Music would become a leading destination for artists and musicians, and that he and Mr. Mangold, both Fairfield County natives, had a shared a vision and skill sets that dovetailed nicely.

Indeed, Vega Music is the culmination of both co-founder’s extensive experience and passion for music.

Mr. Mangold, an accomplished producer, songwriter, composer, and music industry veteran with over 35 years of experience, began his career under the guidance of the legendary Phil Ramone. Throughout his career, Mangold has co-produced some of the most prominent artists of our time.

Mr. Devaney, a software engineer and computer scientist, brings his expertise in writing middleware, backend components, database design, and SaaS development to enhance the studio’s technological capabilities. Devaney is also a musician and songwriter, lending a unique perspective to Vega Music’s operations.

“Since our soft opening, we’ve been doing a lot of musical production: recording, mixing and mastering,” Devaney said. “We’re recording bands and training people to do the same. But we also hope to get into more event hosting.”

Indeed the location offers a versatile event space for cocktail or birthday parties, concerts, recitals, art shows, or business meetings.

A comprehensive range of services are on offer, including recording, mixing, mastering, original music production, songwriting, podcasts, voice-overs, and college portfolio development.
