The Sound Beach Community Band will perform seasonal melodies in front of the Sound Beach Volunteer Fire Dept at the Old Greenwich Merchants Association First Light on Saturday, December 2, 2023.
The Sound Beach Community Band is a private, non-profit organization. It was established in 1955 and is under the musical direction of Zachary Kampler. In addition to the band’s performance at the Old Greenwich Merchants Association First Light, upcoming performances include the Sound Beach Volunteer Fire Department Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony, Independence Day Ceremony and fireworks, and concerts at Binney Park on July 28, 2024 and on August 25, 2024.
The fireworks and concerts are sponsored by the Town of Greenwich Department of Parks & Recreation.
