Wendy MacDonald received first place for her low-profile design that scored over 95 points and was additionally awarded the National Garden Clubs, Designer’s Choice Award. Mrs MacDonald was also awarded first place for her Botanical Arts Artistic Craft entry, an enchanted jewels necklace crafted from all natural dried plant material. This entry was also honored with the National Garden Clubs, Botanical Arts Section Award for being the highest scoring craft receiving over 95 points.

Martina Doshan was awarded six ribbons for her horticulture that included a first place award for her container grown foliage plant and a 90+ third place award for her exhibition table design.
The Garden Club of Old Greenwich was founded in 1924 with the purpose to stimulate an interest in the cultivation of plants and flowers and in the making of gardens, and to promote community spirit and civic awareness of environmental concerns.
