The Avon Theatre Film Center is proud to announce their 12th Annual Scholarship Awards Essay Contest. A total of $7,000 in college scholarship prizes will be awarded.
Seniors in public and private high schools in Fairfield County, CT and Westchester County, NY are invited to submit a 500 – 750 word essay on “WHY FILM MATTERS.”

Avon 2021 Safety Protocols: The Avon Theatre in Stamford is open for in-person movie going every day. The theatre is currently operating with safety protocols in place, as patrons continue to enjoy the mix of new releases and classic films.
