The Avon Theatre Film Center in Stamford is thrilled to announce its premiere virtual Avon Auction 2020 that will offer unique gifts for the holidays.

The Avon, an iconic historic cinema, located in Downtown Stamford since 1939, has been blessed with many donations from local businesses, celebrities, destination getaways and Avon patrons. Auction bidders will find something for even the most discerning relative!

The bidding will go live for two weeks from December 1 through December 15, with opportunities to BUY NOW items instantly. The winners can then pick up the products or have the gift certificates delivered in person or electronically.

The Avon is still accepting products, services and gift certificates for the auction. The auction items will be seen by over 8,000 Avon patrons that subscribe to our weekly e-newsletter plus our many social media followers.

The Avon will also be featuring the auction on both screens at the theatre before every film.

All proceeds from the Avon Auction 2020 will benefit the general operations of the theatre. Every donation makes a huge difference in keeping the doors open during these challenging times. Highlights of the auction include:

The Avon Theatre Film Center is a non-profit, community supported independent cinema specializing in new art house, documentary, foreign language and classic films.

Since re-opening in 2004, the Avon has become known for its many partnerships with local non-profits to present films and Q&A discussions with filmmakers and celebrities on critical issues of the day. The Avon celebrates the art of cinema that entertains, inspires and educates the community.
