Alliance Française of Greenwich and The Bruce Museum Announce Exciting New Film Series

The Alliance Française of Greenwich’s Focus on French Cinema (FFC) is thrilled to celebrate its 20th anniversary with a new partnership with The Bruce Museum as part of the “Bruce Experiences” series. Together, they will present a French Film Series featuring four screenings, all with English subtitles, on January 26, February 23, March 23, and April 13, 2025.

The first screening, The Pursuit of Endurance: On the Shoulders of Shackleton, will take place on Sunday, January 26, from 2:00 to 4:00pm at The Bruce Museum’s Gale and Robert H. Lawrence Jr. and Pamela and Robert Goergen Auditorium.

This documentary follows an expedition retracing the heroic journey of polar explorer Ernest Shackleton. Producer and longtime Greenwich resident Luc Hardy will attend for a post-screening Q&A and reception.
