Celebrating community spirit and town pride, the Greenwich Town Party will once again kick off Memorial Day Weekend on Saturday, May 24.
GTP is thrilled to announce another award-winning lineup for the Main Stage with Grammy Award-winning musician Alanis Morissette headlining this year’s all-day, family-friendly music festival at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park.

Eight-time Grammy Award winner Ziggy Marley will also take the Main Stage with his signature blend of reggae, funk, rock and blues. In addition, the lineup includes the beloved sounds of New Orleans’ Preservation Hall Jazz Band. For the first time ever, the GTP Main Stage will host a performance specifically for children with the upbeat and enthusiastic, Blippi: The Wonderful World Tour. The musical lineup will also feature five local bands on the Town Stage, to be announced in the coming weeks.
The three-week, online ticket lottery for Community Tickets ended March 24 and winners were notified. Neighbor tickets and Sponsor passes are currently available online and are expected to sell out. Neighbor tickets provide unlimited access to the Neighborhood Area with wine, beer and catered custom food from Best in Gourmet Catering throughout the day and evening. The Sponsor level offers unlimited access to the Sponsor Tent with catered food by Marcia Selden Catering and a full bar throughout the day and evening. Both levels have access to designated, premier parking.
“The Greenwich Town Party is the most highly sought after event of the year because it brings the Greenwich community together to share in a day of great music, food, and kids activities to kick off the summer on Memorial Day weekend,” says GTP founder Ray Dalio. “Our ultimate goal has always been to make it affordable for everyone and supported by contributions from those who want to be supportive. Once again, general admission Community tickets have sold out during our online lottery, while Neighbor and Sponsor tickets are available for those who want to join in the fun and be supportive. We hope to see everyone there.”
GTP sponsors and benefactors directly fund and sustain this event year after year. Their generosity allows the GTP to offer Community (general admission) tickets, allowing more people to participate.
Among the previous musical icons who have performed at GTP are Billy Joel, Eric Clapton, Mumford and Sons, The Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Zac Brown Band, Paul Simon, Buddy Guy, James Taylor, Carlos Santana, Hall & Oates, and Earth, Wind & Fire.
MAIN STAGE BANDS
Alanis Morissette
Alanis Morissette’s deeply expressive music and performances have earned vast critical praise and seven Grammy Awards. Morissette’s 1995 album, “Jagged Little Pill,” won five Grammy Awards including Album of the Year. It was a tour de force that changed the sound of pop music around the world with hits including “You Oughta Know,” “Ironic” and “Hand in My Pocket.” It was followed by nine more eclectic and acclaimed albums. She has contributed musically to theatrical releases and has acted on the big and small screen.
Outside of entertainment, she is an avid activist and advocate, focusing on female empowerment as well as spiritual, psychological and physical wholeness. In 2016, Alanis launched Conversation with Alanis Morissette, a monthly podcast that features conversations with a variety of revered thought leaders, authors, doctors, educators, and therapists, covering a wide range of psychosocial topics extending from spirituality to developmentalism to art.
In 2019, “Jagged Little Pill: The Musical” made its Broadway debut at the Broadhurst Theatre in New York City, and was subsequently nominated for fifteen Tony Awards.
In 2020, Alanis released her ninth studio album, Such Pretty Forks In The Road, to rave reviews; it was followed by a meditation album called The Storm Before The Calm in 2022.
Following the pandemic, Alanis made a triumphant return to the road, with two massive, sold-out North American arena tours in 2022 and 2024 respectively.

Ziggy Marley
Ziggy Marley is an eight-time Grammy winner, Emmy winner, musician, producer, activist and humanitarian who has cultivated a legendary career for close to 40 years. The eldest son of Bob and Rita Marley, Ziggy has hewed his own path as a musical pioneer, infusing the reggae genre with funk, blues, rock and other elements through mindful songcraft. Equal parts master storyteller and motivational guide, he deftly explores issues from environmental awareness to self-empowerment, social injustice to political inequity, while returning again and again to the transformative power of love. In addition, Marley’s charity, URGE, benefits the well-being of children in Jamaica, Africa and North America.

Preservation Hall Jazz Band
At a moment when musical streams are crossing with unprecedented frequency, it’s crucial to remember that throughout its history, New Orleans has been the point at which sounds and cultures from around the world converge, mingle, and resurface, transformed by the Crescent City’s inimitable spirit and joie de vivre. Nowhere is that idea more vividly embodied than in the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, which has held the torch of New Orleans music aloft for more than 50 years, all the while carrying it enthusiastically forward as a reminder that the history they were founded to preserve is a vibrantly living history.
PHJB marches that tradition forward once again on “So It Is,” the septet’s second release featuring all-new original music. The album redefines what New Orleans music means today by tapping into a sonic continuum that stretches back to the city’s Afro-Cuban roots, through its common ancestry with the Afrobeat of Fela Kuti and the Fire Music of Pharoah Sanders and John Coltrane, and forward to cutting-edge artists with whom the PHJB have shared festival stages from Coachella to Newport, including legends like Stevie Wonder, Elvis Costello and the Grateful Dead and modern giants like My Morning Jacket, Arcade Fire and the Black Keys.

TOWN STAGE
A popular tradition of GTP is the Town Stage, which features local bands whose performances round out the day. Bands with local roots and familiar names perform on the same ticket as world-renowned musicians every year. Created to celebrate the diverse and abundant talent within the Greenwich community, the Town Stage band application was open to Greenwich residents of all ages, backgrounds and genres. The 2025 lineup will be announced next month.
Consistent with its policy since the Party’s inception, all GTP ticket levels may only be purchased by Greenwich residents and employees. All lottery submissions were verified for Greenwich residency or employment. For more information and to purchase Sponsor and Neighbor tickets, please visit the GTP website.
An IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Greenwich Town Party is privately funded through generous contributions from residents and businesses and, in part, through ticket sales. In the spirit of mutual generosity, the GTP encourages everyone to contribute as much as they can so the Community (general admission) ticket price can be $100. One generous Greenwich resident matches all contributions, and 80 percent of the cost of each Community ticket is generously funded by individual and corporate sponsors of the GTP. The GTP has no cost to the Town of Greenwich and is not funded by taxpayers.
