America’s Boating Club of Greenwich in conjunction with the Greenwich Marine Police is offering a boating class that qualifies you for your Connecticut Safe Boating Certificate and also enables you to obtain the PWC/”Jet Ski” certificate. Emphasizing boating safety, topics include: life jackets; fire extinguishers; distress signals; operator responsibilities; boating regulations; fueling; boating courtesy; basic rules of navigation; buoys; sound signals; navigation lights, shapes, and sounds; boat registration; and environmental considerations.
Become a Skilled Boater: Sail, Power, Paddle, Jet Ski
• General Boat handling
• Safe Towing (water skiing & tubing)
• Docking and Anchoring
• Radio NEW VHF/DSC
• Ropes, cleats, knots, all made easy
Course qualifies you for a Connecticut Boating Certificate + PWC/Jet Ski certificate

The class will be held at Greenwich Police Headquarters, 11 Bruce Place, Greenwich
Please arrive by 8:30 am for registration and coffee
Cost: $80 per person, includes coffee and sandwich lunch
