The American Legion Post 29 is holding a fundraiser barbecue on Saturday, Sept 28, 2019 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Tomes Higgins House, by Christ Church at 254 East Putnam Ave.
Through this, their first ever fundraiser, Greenwich American Legion Post #29 is looking to citizens and businesses to support local Veterans, youth and community initiatives.
For over 100 years the American Legion has provided services an ongoing programs for veterans and community outreach including Boys & Girls State, Greenwich cannons Baseball, Support for veterans and local patriotic events.
The cost is $25 per person; $10 for children over 6.
