UPDATE: Aquarion Tips Following Elderly Woman Targeted in Greenwich By Men Posing as Water Co Workers

Original story: 7:48am: According to Greenwich Police a distraction type burglary took place on Thursday at about noon when an elderly woman on Arthur Street was targeted by someone posing as a water company representative.

The resident was shown some type of identification and allowed the man inside to check the water pressure in her water meter. While within the residence, suddenly an additional three subjects entered her house.

According to the statement from Lt. Gray, at that point the elderly woman became very scared and began to yell and say she was going to call the police. At that point, all four men fled.

All four subjects left immediately without causing the resident harm or taking anything.

The four suspects are described as described as having dark complexions or olive tones and were wearing matching gray pants.
