Maria Isabel Marin, “Isa”, of Greenwich, passed away on August 20, 2026 at age 70. She was born on December 1, 1955, in Urugay to Jose & Nelvia Crespo.
Isabel is fondly remembered as a kind and loving woman who always enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends. She loved to cook and bake as well as host parties where you’d find her dancing. Isa loved any chance she had spending all day at the beach.
She is survived by her mother, Nelvia, along with her cherished children, Diana Simo (Pablo), Robert Marin (Elizabeth), Fernando Marin (Lorena), Fabiana Marin and Elizabeth Marin, and loving grandchildren, Elizabeth Simo, Andrew Simo, Antonio Marin, Jaden Hinds and Tyler Marin. She is also the dear sister of Jose Crespo (Claudia Patricia).
To honor Isa’s life, family and friends will gather on Monday 4:00 to 8:00pm at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Avenue Greenwich, 203-869-5968. Funeral Mass Tuesday 10am at St. Mary’s Church followed by interment at Greenwood Union Cemetery.
