Greenwich Police arrested a local woman last Wednesday after she crashed into a parked vehicle in the area of 238 Post Road in Cos Cob (near Roost and Habitat Greenwich) around 1:10pm.
Police said the driver did not stop after hitting the parked car, and continued traveling westbound on the Post Road.
Officers were able to locate the vehicle on East Putnam Avenue near Maple Ave and conducted a motor vehicle stop.
According to the arrest report, the driver, identified as Inger-Johanne Holm, 76, while speaking with police said, “I’m drunk” and failed to perform field sobriety tests to standard. Holm was arrested on scene.
She was charged with DUI, Failure to Drive Right and Evading Responsibility with Property Damage.
She was able to post the minimum 7% require of her $300 bond ($21.00) and was released from custody. She was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on June 24, 2026.
