It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Walter Fudale Sr., a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. Thomas died peacefully at 91 years of age on Saturday, June 6, 2026 in Kissimmee, FL with his daughter Deborah at his side. Thomas was born June 18, 1934 in Maynard, Ohio to the late Bolice and Josephine (Skovron) Fudale. After graduation from St. Clairsville High School in 1952, Thomas and his family relocated to Byram, Connecticut. There, he met and married his wife, Patricia (Jordan) Fudale on June 20, 1959.
Thomas served in the National Guard and was stationed at Fort Dix in New Jersey. He later started a painting contractor business with his brother Louis. Fudale Brothers was established and operated in the town of Greenwich for over 40 years.
Thomas enjoyed traveling in his motorhome around the United States with his wife and children in his spare time. His preferred destinations included Lancaster, PA, Kissimmee, FL and returning to Ohio for family reunions. Thomas was a devoted Ohio State football fan and seldom missed the chance to watch a game on television. After retiring, Thomas and his wife traveled to central Florida each winter, where they enjoyed the sunshine, made many friends, and participated in various community activities.
Thomas and his wife became permanent residents of Florida in May of 2025 at The Windsor, an Assisted Living Facility in Celebration.
Thomas is survived by his wife Patricia Fudale, two children Deborah and Thomas Fudale Jr., and his two granddaughters Morgan Fudale and Ani Gharabegian. Thomas is preceded in death by his brother Louis Fudale and sister MaryAnn Gray. His youngest sister Jo Ellen Martin survives him.
Thomas’ love for his family was the foundation of his life, and it will remain the legacy that guides us forward.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 18 at 10:00am at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Greenwich, CT.
