Two teams of students from Hamilton Avenue School, coached by 2015 Distinguished Teacher Cathy Byrne, have been invited to attend the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals at Iowa State University in late May to compete against passionate and creative students from around the world.
Odyssey of the Mind is an international educational program that provides creative problem-solving opportunities for students.
In order to attend, they need to raise funds to pay for food, housing, and transportation. The cost for each student to attend is about $1,500.
The school community and their parents all very much want these hard working students to be able to attend, but they need your help.
