U.S. Ambassador to China Nick Burns to Speak March 22 at Christ Church Greenwich

Christ Church Greenwich welcomes a remarkable guest to its Sunday Forum series this week. Ambassador Nicholas Burns, who served as the United States Ambassador to China from 2021 to 2025, will speak at 11:15 am in the Parish Hall on Sunday, March 22.

Ambassador Burns brings extraordinary depth to this conversation. A career Foreign Service Officer, he served six Presidents and nine Secretaries of State from both parties over the course of a distinguished diplomatic career spanning decades. His firsthand experience navigating one of the world’s most complex and consequential relationships makes him a rare and compelling voice on the future of U.S.-China relations.

His remarks will focus on the many challenges — economic, geopolitical, and human — in America’s highly competitive relationship with Xi Jinping’s China, and what they mean for the world ahead.

At Christ Church Greenwich, we believe that understanding the forces shaping our world is part of how we live courageously and compassionately as people of faith.

The Forum is free and open to the public. Christ Church Greenwich is located at 254 East Putnam Avenue, Greenwich, CT.
