Stamford Man Charged with Reckless Driving, Speeding 70+MPH on Hamilton Ave

Greenwich Police arrested a Stamford man on Oct 23 after he surrendered at GPD headquarters on an outstanding warrant.

Bryan Manuel Marroguin, 29, allegedly fled a traffic stop in the area of Hamilton Avenue in Chickahominy around 4:13am at a high rate of speed, passing multiple vehicles on the wrong side of the road. Upon investigation the accused was determined not to possess a driver’s license.

He was charged with Speeding Car Over 70MPH LAH, Reckless Driving, Engaging Police in Pursuit and Operating Motor Vehicle without License.

Mr. Marroguin was released from custody after posting a $510.00 cash bond.

He was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on Nov 6, 2025.

According to the CT judicial branch website, Marroguin pleaded guilty and is due back in court on Jan 7, 2026.
