Greenwich Library Peterson Business Series to Feature Patricia Walsh Chadwick on “Breaking Glass”

Greenwich Library is excited to welcome one of Greenwich’s legendary leading women, Patricia Walsh Chadwick, in a conversation moderated by Jennifer Openshaw, Chair of Girls With Impact on Thursday, Nov 6 at 6:00pm in the Berkley Theater. This event is presented in partnership with Girls With Impact.

Patricia Walsh Chadwick

Chadwick’s newest book, Breaking Glass: Tales from the Witch of Wall Street, delves into her story—which began with being kicked out of a cult at 17.

She started on the bottom rung of the ladder in the world of business and worked her way to the top, breaking through the glass ceiling.

A book signing and meet and greet reception will follow the conversation, with books available for sale from Diane’s Books.

Patricia Walsh Chadwick received her BA in Economics from Boston University and had a successful 30-year career in the investment business, culminating as a Global Partner at Invesco and frequent CNBC commentator.

Today she sits on a number of corporate boards and writes on economic, social, and political issues. In 2016, she co-founded Anchor Health Initiative, a healthcare company devoted to the needs of the LGBTQ community in Connecticut, and serves as the firm’s pro-bono CEO.

She is active in the not-for-profit world, serving on the boards of The Bruce Museum, The Glimmerglass Festival, Elon University, The United Theatre in Westerly, RI. Patricia is known to many for her leadership advancing women and under-served communities.

She is the author of a previous memoir, Little Sister.

Called “one of the most outspoken proponents for empowering women to control their financial lives,” Jennifer Openshaw is CEO & Chairman of Girls With Impact, the nation’s leading business preparation program for young women 14-24, working to close the 50-year timeframe until women are equally represented in business.  During Silicon Valley’s early days, she was founder & CEO of Women’s Financial Network (acquired) and has held senior roles in the financial industry, including the California State Treasurer’s Office, JP Morgan Chase (formerly BankOne), and Bank of America. A LinkedIn Influencer and former national spokesperson for Microsoft, Jennifer’s been a longtime fixture in the media – from Oprah and Dr. Phil to CNBC, Today, and Good Morning America.
