Matthew Austin White, 30, of Norwalk was arrested following an incident on Sue Merz Way in Byram.
Police said that that around 7:40pm on Oct 7 they responded to a report of a verbal argument in a parking lot between two parties, but that the parties were at the time separated.
On scene investigation revealed that the arrestee, Mr. white, threatened to physically harm the victim by pointing a pellet rifle at him.
A search of Mr. White’s vehicle produced three pellet rifles.
White was charged with six counts of Illegal Possession of Weapon in Motor Vehicle, Breach of Peace 2, Threatening 2/Physical Threat and Reckless Endangerment 1st degree.
Mr. White’s bond was set at $10,000, which he was unable to post and he was placed on a GPD cell block.
He has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Oct 24, 2025.
