Two Men Charged with Assault After Disagreement over Off Leash Dogs

Two men were arrested by Greenwich Police after they allegedly got into a fight at Wilbur Peck Court around 8:18am on Sept 14.

Fulton John Baston, 20, and Edwin J Guerrero, 46, were both charged with Assault 3 (class A misdemeanor) and Breach of Peace 2 (class B misdemeanor) after what started as a verbal disagreement over Mr. Guerrero’s two dogs being off leash in a public area.

Mr. Guerrero allegedly tackled Mr. Baston, punched him in the face and pushed his face into the ground.

Mr. Gaston allegedly assaulted the other party with a broomstick.

Both men were released on a promise to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Sept 29, 2025.
