Between November 2024 and January 2025, undercover officers conducted several controlled purchases, during which various illegal items were obtained. These transactions provided sufficient evidence to proceed with a search warrant, which was executed on January 29, 2025, in partnership with the DCP Drug Control Division.
During the execution of the search warrant, investigators seized over 1,200 illicit products, amounting to approximately 28.8 pounds of THC. Notably, one of the seized items contained 3,000mg edibles, far exceeding the state’s legal limit of 5mg per package. In addition to the drugs, officers confiscated $632 in cash, believed to be linked to the illegal sales.
“We remain committed to upholding the laws of our state and ensuring the safety and well-being of our community. This successful operation is a testament to the diligence of our officers and the collaborative efforts of our partners at the Department of Consumer Protection,” police said in their post on Facebook.
The investigation is ongoing.
