If you look forward to spring for all the tag sales, flea markets and tent sales, here are some opportunities for you this weekend.
Sunday is the long awaited Knights of Columbus Flea Market in the Island Beach Parking Lot from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Admission to the flea market is free and there is usually a nice assortment of crafts, antiques and bric-a-brac.
Wilton’s Minks to Sinks sale runs Saturday May 3 9:00am to 5:00pm, Sunday May 4 from Noon to 4:00pm and Monday, May 5, from 9:00am to Noon. The massive sale is located on Rt. 7 about a mile north of Wilton Center. You can’t miss it. The tents are massive. the sale features furniture, lawn & garden tools, jewelry, curtains, linens, toys, household items, bikes, luggage, lamps, electronics, books, athletic equipment, strollers, high chairs, shoes, clothing, collectibles, and more. The event, which bills itself as “The Biggest Treasure Hunt in Town,” benefits Family & Children’s Agency.
If you head to Wilton, stop at Something Special, a thrift shop specializing in vintage items. They are only open on weekends: Saturday and Sunday 1:00pm – 5:00pm.
