Guests enjoyed delicious drinks, gourmet pizza and dessert trucks, music by “Fashionably Late,” mingling, and a special program honoring five individuals who are
making a difference through volunteerism or philanthropy.

During the program, CEO Rachel Kornfeld, spoke about the crucial impact JFS programs have across Connecticut, including mental health, refugee resettlement, older adult services, and Jewish Health and Healing.

She also presented awards to the honorees Robin and Joe Kanarek, who were presented with the Community Impact Award, and to Alex Greenberger, Caitlin Tice, and Ryan Miele who were awarded the inaugural Gen Z Future Leaders Award.

Our incredibly generous guests helped us raise over $33,000 during the live appeal. If you would like to contribute, it’s not too late: text 50155, type JFS, then click the link to donate or contact Beth Nussbaum, at [email protected].

Special thanks to Greenwich Reform Synagogue, Mark Liflander of Liflander Photography, the Fashionably Late Band, and Rob Petz of Cap, Cork & Cellar.
