Peter Max  has been well recognized as a talented illustrator and graphic artist for decades, known for his use of psychedelic shapes and color palettes, which often cover much of the visible spectrum.

His works were identified first as a part of counter culture in graphic design in the late 60’s, but more recently he has been the official artist for such events as the 1994 World Cup, the Grammy Awards, the Super Bowl, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame among others.

The gallery is proud to welcome the artist to Greenwich to present his newest works to residents of the area.

Many of the new works are a part of “Sinatra: An American Icon,” an exhibition that will run from March 4 to September 4 at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts. These pieces, in addition to other iconic Max pieces will be available for acquisition. In addition Dr. Jessica Winston of ExploreArtNewYork will also be present to offer further insight into the creative process. All are welcome!
