Greenwich Schools: Standardized Testing Results Released for 2022-2023 School Year

The CT State Dept of Education released the results of the 2022-2023 Smarter Balanced assessment, which is the accountability assessment in English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics for students in Grades 3-8, and Connecticut School SAT results.

Greenwich Schools administrators will now begin their in-depth review of the standardized assessment data and instructional practices to identify successes to celebrate and amplify, and areas of focus to address.

Greenwich’s Board of Education is scheduled to receive a comprehensive report on the standardized assessment results on Thursday, October 5 at the regularly scheduled Board Retreat.

“As our administration team continues to analyze the data in the coming weeks, we will stay focused on helping every student reach their maximum potential,” Superintendent Dr. Toni Jones said in a release. “Our entire staff has shown a great deal of dedication and commitment to the education of our community’s children.”

The complete results for the state, districts and schools, and student groups are available on the public EdSight portal at http://edsight.ct.gov.
