On the afternoon of July 31, Greenwich Police were dispatched to the area of 1239 East Putnam Ave on the report of a woman who spat in the face of another person.
1239 East Putnam Ave is one of the addresses associated with Riverside Commons.
Officers were provided a description and while en route located a woman matching the description behind 1239 East Putnam Ave.
Additionally the reporting party directed officers to her location and positively identified her on scene.
The woman was identified as Kenyetta King, 44, of Cos Cob.
Ms King admitted to officers on scene that she had indeed spat in the face of another woman.
The reporting party subsequently provided a voluntary sworn written statement to police attesting to the facts and circumstances.
Ms King was charged with Breach of Peace 2.
She has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Aug 12, 2021. She was released on a promise to appear in court.
