Woman in Greenwich Plaza Parking Lot Had PCP, Outstanding Warrant

On July 6 Greenwich Police responded to a report of a woman banging on a car door in the lower level parking lot of Greenwich Plaza. The woman was described as a woman wearing a blue shirt and checkered pants.

When police arrived around 7:15pm they spotted a woman in a blue t-shirt and zebra pattern pants sitting in the parking lot sitting by several garbage bins.

Police say that the woman was Kelli Bonnet, 29, of White Plains, and that they learned she had an active arrest warrant for Failure to Appear 2.

While she was being handcuffed, police say she dropped something on the ground.The item was a plastic bag that appeared to contain a green leafy substance.

Police asked the woman what was in the bag and she replied, “PCP.” A search of Ms Bonnet revealed one plastic bag that contained five dime bags individually wrapped in aluminum foil and $130 cash.

The six bags, with a total of 4.6 grams, tested presumptive positive for PCP.

Bonnet was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance/Narcotics First offense. Ms Bonnet was unable to post her $500 bond.

According to the CT Judicial branch website, Ms Bonnet also has outstanding charges from 2019 for Criminal Trespass 1 and Interfering with an Officer/Resisting Arrest and Failure to Appear.
