Woman Faces Multiple Charges after Incident at Local Restaurant

Greenwich Police reported that they recently responded to an incident at a restaurant in the area of Greenwich Avenue on a report of a disturbance.

Police say that on March 3 around 9:15pm, the suspect, Enide Gabriel, 56, of Darien, had entered the restaurant attempting to sell goods to the restaurant’s customers. When restaurant staff asked Ms Gabriel to leave several times, she refused.

“While staff continued to ask Gabriel to leave, Gabriel blew her nose onto one of the staff members,” police said in their criminal information summary. “Gabriel was then escorted from the restaurant. Once outside, Gabriel continued to attempt to fight with one of the employees, damaging the employee’s shirt.”

At that point police were contacted. Police charged Ms Gabriel with Criminal Trespass 1, Criminal Mischief 3, and Breach of Peace 2.

She was released on a $2,500 non-surety bond and has a date in Stamford Superior Court on March 15, 2022.
