On Sept 2 Greenwich Police investigated a commercial burglary complaint from a yoga studio in the area of Greenwich Avenue stemming back to Aug 27.
Police developed information that Shawana Starr Smith, 47, of Old Orchard Lane in Stamford was responsible.
Ms. Smith was later located and related that she had been in the burglarized business the previous evening and was in possession of burglarized items at the time of her arrest.
According to Lt Slusarz, the night before Ms Smith went into the yoga studio, which is undergoing renovations.
She was charged with Larceny 6, Criminal Trespass 2 and Burglary 3.
Her bond was set at $250, which she was unable to post. She has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Sept 16, 2019.
