Woman Charged with Assault, Interfering with 911 Call in Chickahominy

On Friday around noon Greenwich Police responded to Chickahominy on a report of a possible physical fight between two people, which officers confirmed on arrival.

Police say one victim had a visible injury on their head.

They also determined when the victim attempted to dial 911 the call was interrupted by the wire being removed from the telephone.

Police determined Angelita Cabrera, 29, of Harold Ave in Greenwich was the aggressor int he altercation and she was taken into custody.

Cabrera was charged with Assault 2, Interfering with an Emergency Call and Disorderly Conduct.

Her bond was set at $5,000, which she was able to post. She was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on Monday, March 16, 2020.
