Greenwich police responded to 356 Greenwich Ave on the report of a car accident on Dec. 19 at about 3:15pm. At the scene officers observed two vehicles involved in the crash which happened at Steamboat Rd and Railroad Ave, but the woman driver, Alana K Fallon, 23, of 4 Chestnut Street in Pleasantville, NY, had fled the scene and been followed to the areas of Fawcett Pl. and Greenwich Ave by the other driver of the other car in the crash.
The officers observed woman driver had strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. She did not perform field sobriety tests to standards and was arrested and charged with both DUI and Evading Responsibility and Restricted Turns Fail Signal.
At Greenwich Police Headquarters Fallon refused to provide a breath sample. She was unable to post her $250 bond. She has a court date scheduled on Dec. 28 in Stamford Superior Court.
