Two Women Charged with Assault Following Fight at GHS

On Wednesday morning Greenwich Police released an arrest report for an incident on Tuesday at Greenwich High School at  8:13am, which they described as an altercation between two adult females. Both women were arrested.

On Tuesday, the district informed parents by email of the altercation, saying it was between two GHS food service workers and that no students were involved or injured. The district said a School Resource Officer responded to the incident.

Police said in the report that the incident took place at 8:13am; GHS doesn’t start until 8:30am.

Police say their investigation revealed that Gina M Gazard, 51 of Virgil street in Stamford, had engaged in a physical fight in a public space that resulted in physical injury to multiple parties. She was charged with Breach of Peace 2 and two counts of Assault 3.

Also arrested was Tammy E Caballero, 34, of North Street in Stamford. She was also charged with Breach of Peace 2 and Assault 3 (two counts).

Both women were released on a promise to appear in Stamford Superior Court on May 22.
