UPDATE: Two Women, 69 and 85 Injured in Crash at Putnam Park/Putnam Hill

Motor Vehicle Investigation at Putnam Park.

On 11/3/2021, at approximately 3:13pm, the Greenwich Police Department, Greenwich Fire Department and Greenwich EMS were dispatched to a call of a single vehicle collision with a building. 

The collision occurred within the Putnam Park / Putnam Hill Complex.

According to Captain Mark Zuccerella, the 69-year-old female driver and 85-year-old female passenger were both conscious at the scene and were transported to Stamford Hospital.  Both women were admitted to Stamford Hospital ICU with no immediately life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation and there have been no charges issued at this time.

Original Story: On Wednesday afternoon around 3:00pm, a car crashed through one of the buildings at Putnam Park, which is located off Milbank Ave, north of Julian Curtiss School.

According to Captain mark Zuccerella at Greenwich Police Dept, the case is active and the building was condemned by the Greenwich Fire Dept after the collision.

“The two vehicle occupants were taken to the hospital – one with non-life threatening injuries, the other with serious injuries,” Zuccerella said.

Police will issue a press release when more information is ready to be released.
