Trespassing, Larceny & Criminal Mischief Charges for Yonkers Man on Steamboat Road

On April 27 Greenwich Police responded to 603 Steamboat Road on a report of a theft of three outdoor lounge chair cushions valued at about $450.

Investigation revealed that the person who stole the cushions might have been illegally residing at 655 Steamboat Road.

A check of the residence turned up items with the arrestee’s name on them and stolen items from 603 Steamboat Rd.

The reporting party confirmed the stolen items were his.

Jose Santos-Pena, 24, of Yonkers, NY, was arrested in the area of 623 Steamboat Road and charged with Criminal Trespass 2 and Larceny 6.

On the same day Greenwich police responded to the same address at 603 Steamboat Road on a report of a theft. Again, investigation revealed that the person who stole the items might be illegally residing at 655 Steamboat Road. A check of the residence revealed a broken window / door. Police found items with the arrestee’s name on them and the stolen items from 603 Steamboat Road.

The owner related that the cost to repair the window/door was $2,275.

For this incident Santos-Pena was charged with Criminal Trespass 2 and Criminal Mischief 1.

Santos-Pena has a date in Stamford Superior Court on May 12, 2023. He was released on a promise to appear in court.

A third arrest report indicates that Mr. Santos-Pena had two active arrest warrants from two different New York police departments.His bond was $500,000.
