Greenwich Police announced this week that on August 8, 2025, at approximately 10:29 pm, officers responded to a residence on the west side of town following a report of property damage caused by a commercial grade firework.
Upon arrival, officers observed damage to the front entry awning, siding, and flower bed of the residence. Multiple witnesses reported that a male suspect exited a vehicle, ignited a firework, and threw it toward the home. The device ricocheted off a parked vehicle before detonating against the structure. The suspect then fled the scene.
Following an investigation, officers identified 19-year-old Luca Dominic Scott, a resident of Greenwich as the suspect.
