State police responded to a crash at the exit ramp of I684 southbound just after 6:00pm on Friday night.
A Cadillac Escalade driven by a Port Chester, NY man, was traveling on I-684 southbound, prior to Exit #2 in Greenwich.
For unknown reasons, the driver veered off the right side of the highway through the grassy roadside and into the wooded area, where he struck multiple trees.
The driver, Manuel Tenesaca-Jarama, 47, was transported by Armonk EMS to Westchester Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The passenger who remains unidentified at this time sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the accident scene. Vehicle #1 was towed from the scene by Post Road Auto Body.
This collision remains under investigation.
