Stamford Police Narcotics Arrest Follows Two Month Investigation

Stamford Police announced the arrest of Charlie Jimenez, 38, by their Narcotics & Organized Crime Unit after a two-month investigation into narcotics activity in the city.

Mr. Jimenez, a Stamford resident, was charged with Possession of Narcotics, Possession of Narcotics with Intent to Sell (>1 oz), and Operating a Drug Factory.

His bond was set at $75,000, which he was able to post.

Police said their Detectives conducted a motor vehicle stop after Jimenez left his residence. During the stop, detectives recovered 12 bags of crack cocaine (approximately 4.7 grams), along with two cellphones and $863 in U.S. currency.

Following the stop, detectives obtained and executed a search warrant for Jimenez’s residence. During the search, officers seized:

• 139.3 grams of crack cocaine

• 24.9 grams of powder cocaine

• Packaging materials and scales

• Approximately $2,000 in U.S. currency

Mr. Jimenez is a previously convicted felon with a federal narcotics trafficking conviction out of New York.

His arrest reflects the continued efforts of the Stamford Police Department to combat narcotics distribution and keep our community safe.

Jimenez was assigned a date in Stamford Superior Court on April 2, 2026.
