On July 26 around 4:00am, Greenwich Police spotted a vehicle traveling in the area of Delavan Ave and Frontage Rd in Byram at a high rate of speed well above the posted 25 MPH speed limit. The vehicle was not displaying head lamps or tail lights and was weaving within the lane of travel, crossing over the double yellow center lines.
Police conducted a motor vehicle stop and during investigation the accused, identified as Fabian Zavala-Granados, 33, of White Plains, NY was displaying signs of alcohol impairment.
He was charged with TravelingĀ Unreasonably Fast, DUI, Failure to Drive upon Right, and Failure to Display Lights.
His bond was set at $300 and was released after posting the required minimum 7% ($21.00). Zavala-Granados was assigned a day in Stamford Superior Court on Aug 7, 2026.
