Greenwich Police arrested a Bronx man last week for shoplifting at Lululemon on Greenwich Avenue.
On Saturday afternoon around 12:30pm multiple Greenwich Police units were dispatched to the store after a report that a shoplifting incident had just occurred.
Police said the accused, Humberto Vega-Santiago, 42, of Bronx, NY, then returned to the store to attempt to shoplift a second time.
Mr. Vega-Santiago was apprehended by police as he attempted to flee the scene.
An itemized receipt of the items provided by Lululemon’s asset protection revealed that the bag being carried by Mr. Vega-Santiago contained $4,628.35 worth of clothes.
He was charged with Larceny 3 and Interfering with an Officer/Resisting.
He was unable to post the required 7% of his bond.
Mr. Vega-Santiago has a date in Stamford Superior Court on July 29, 2024.
