On Jan 13 police serve an active arrest warrant for Bernardo Desaavedra, 77, of 3 Canterbury Green in Stamford. The warrant stemmed from an investigation by Greenwich Police of a past Larceny on Dec 2, 2017 around 4:30pm at Hermes at 289 Greenwich Avenue.
Mr. Desaavedra was developed as a suspect after being detained for a separate larceny incident. Police say he was also observed on security footage committing the crime.
Mr. Desaavedra was charged with Larceny 5. His bond was set at $10,000, which he was able to post.
He was released and has a date scheduled in Stamford Superior Court on Jan 29, 2018.
