Port Chester Man Charged with Vandalism for 2012 Incident in Byram

On Nov 29 Stamford Police contacted Greenwich Police to say they had Marcus Ephraim, 30, of Grace Church Street in Port Chester in custody.

Ephraim was wanted by GPD for an incident stemming all the way back to March 2012, when he was 22 years old.

Police confirmed the warrant, which they say was for a past incident of vandalism on North Water Street in Byram.

Police say their investigation revealed that Mr. Ephraim engaged in a verbal altercation with a victim, that almost became physical when a friend restrained Ephraim. Police say Ephraim began to thrash about and made intentional contact with a storefront window.

He was charged with Breach of Peace 2 and Criminal Mischief 2.

He was released on $1,000 bond and has a ate in Stamford Superior Court on Jan 22, 2021.
