On Jan 7 around 11:45pm Greenwich Police responded to a report of a car crash on East Putnam Avenue in central Greenwich.
Investigation determined that the car’s driver, later identified as James Richard Galinsky, 63, of Madison, CT, had glassy eyes and the odor of alcoholic beverage.
Galinsky did not perform field sobriety tests to standard and was charged with Failure to Drive in Lane and DUI. He has a date in Stamford Superior Court on Jan 21, 2020. He was able to post his $250 bond and was released.
