Timothy Palmer, 63, of 189 Sound Beach Ave in Old Greenwich was arrested on April 15 and charged with DUI and Tailgating.
Around 8:30pm, Greenwich Police responded to a report of an accident at the I95 southbound off ramp.
Upon arrival on scene, one of the drivers, identified as Mr. Palmer, was located outside his vehicle. According to Greenwich Police, Mr.Palmer was unsteady on his feet, had an odor of an alcoholic type beverage on his breath, had slurred speech and red, glassy bloodshot eyes.
Mr. Palmer did not perform field sobriety tests to standard and was charged with DUI and Following Too Close. Palmer’s bond was set at $250 and he was assigned a court date in Stamford Superior Court on May 1, 2017.
