Police Charge Junk Removal Employee with Larceny in Old Greenwich

On the afternoon of March 19 Greenwich Police responded to a report that jewelry was missing from an Old Greenwich residence.

Police say that a Lincoln Ave resident said a worker from a junk removal firm had stolen jewelry.

Investigation revealed that Christopher Plavnicky, 31, of Stratford had stolen several pieces of jewelry.

He was charged with Larceny 3.

His bond was set at $1,500 which he was able to post and he has a date in Stamford Superior Court on April 9, 2020.
