Greenwich Police responded to Joey B’s restaurant on Aug 16 around 7:00am on a report of an unwanted subject who had returned to the property after being banned.
Police say they had advised Gary Glenn Berner, 83, of Dandy Drive in Cos Cob on June 2 not to return to the property or he would be subject to arrest.
Berner was photographed by restaurant employees earlier in the morning.
Prior to police arriving, Berner threatened three times to “kick the manager’s ass” in front of witnesses.
Berner was charged with Criminal Trespass 1 and Disorderly Conduct.
His bond was set at $1,000 and he has a date in Stamford Superior Court on August 30, 2021.
