On Monday, Sept 27 Greenwich Police investigators were at Stamford Superior Court when they were advised that a woman wanted in Greenwich for a hit and run incident was in the courthouse.
Greenwich Police, who held an active arrest warrant for the woman, Leila Chinyere Nduka of Scarborough, Ontario, said she was wanted for Evading Responsibility / Injury/Property Damage and Failure to drive in Proper Lane.
According to the arrest report the crash happened on Feb 23, 2021 around 1:37am in the area of Pemberwick Rd in Pemberwick.
Judicial marshals turned over custody of Ms Nduka and she was brought to Greenwich to be processed. she was able to post her $5,000 bond and was released. She has a court date on Oct 12, 2021 in Stamford Superior Court.
