On Sunday June 24 around 2:00pm a car crash outside Starbucks in Cos Cob resulted in a pedestrian being taken to the hospital.
According to Greenwich Police Lt Nemecek, two cars crashed at 147 Post Rd and one car wound up careening onto the sidewalk where a pedestrian was hit as he tried to get out of the way and jump over the guardrail into the grass by Mill Pond.
“It was not a direct blow,” Nemecek said of the car hitting the pedestrian, adding that the injuries were not serious.
