Past Catches up with Port Chester Man Following Argument in Pemberwick

On May 23, Greenwich Police responded to 9 River Street in Pemberwick around 5:00am on a report of a verbal altercation. Officers observed a black male subject, later identified as Tony D Morgan, 33, of 200 Irving Ave in Port Chester, standing outside the apartment.

According to Greenwich Police, when asked, Mr. Morgan said there was no problem, but rather a small argument had taken place between him and someone named “Chris” who had already left the residence.

Mr. Morgan, who initially provided a false name to police. Claiming to be “Chris Jackson.” His true identity was confirmed by photograph. He was charged with Interfering with an Officer. For that charge, bond was set at $500, which he was unable to post.

Additionally, dispatch confirmed an active warrant for Mr. Morgan out of Stamford. He charged with Failure to Appear, with bond set at $10,000, which he was unable to post. He has a day in Stamford Superior Court set for June 6, 2016.
